Welcome.

  • Gather ye Rose-buds while ye may,
    Old Time is still a-flying:
And this same flower that smiles to day,
    To morrow will be dying…

Intro from “To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time” by Robert Herrick

I stepped off the scale in my room after seeing that I had finally dipped below my weight loss goal. I lost 53lbs.

I looked in the mirror and took some “after photos”. Seeing them side by side with my before shots put a big smile on my face.

    I did it!

There are so many things I would do differently if I had to start again.

But I never would have learned these lessons had I not flipped the chess board and started with the messy beginnings I had to work with. The best plan became clear along the way.

Tomorrow can often feel like a great day to start on the journey we’re being called to.

The problem is, the number of tomorrows we have to work with is fading fast.

Why not take a small step today instead?

    • Walk around the block.
    • Throw out all the cookies in your cupboard.
    • Buy a bag of frozen veggies for your freezer.
    • Declare to a friend that you’ve had enough.

  • I’m Tim.

I lost 53 lbs, without exercise. What a roller coaster!

And yet, the entire process didn’t take all that long.

The hard part for me was less about knowing what to do, and more about going from feeling stuck to being activated and leaping forward.

This isn’t a proper introduction. But I’m planting a flag here.

To get started sharing what I’ve been through, why it works so well, and how anyone can use the same approach to completely transform their body with certainty.

Sometimes we just need to get started and moving even though there isn’t a plan or a proper map in front of us. I suspect I’ll find a format for this writing soon enough. Something useful.

Better to get on the road and fill in the blanks along the way, rather than risk never getting started.
